Hi everyone! I'm setting up an online store and now I'm at the stage where I need to choose a reliable payment system. There are so many options out there—Stripe, PayPal, etc.—but I’m not sure what’s best in terms of integration, transaction fees, and user experience. Also, I’m curious about how difficult it is to actually integrate a payment gateway into a website (I'm using WooCommerce, by the way). Has anyone gone through this recently and could share their experience or recommend something that works well for small to medium-sized stores? |

Hey! I've gone through this process a few times, so hopefully I can offer some useful advice. First off, the choice really depends on your store’s size, your audience, and whether you’re planning to expand internationally. If you're using WooCommerce, you're already in a good spot because it supports a wide range of payment gateway plugins. I’d suggest looking beyond just the big names like PayPal and Stripe. There are platforms that offer more customization and control, especially if branding and customer experience are priorities. A White Label payment system might be worth considering here—it allows you to keep the entire checkout experience under your brand, which can help build trust and reduce cart abandonment. As for integration, many of these systems offer plugins or API documentation tailored to WooCommerce, so the setup can be relatively straightforward, even if you're not a developer. Just make sure to also factor in things like compliance (PCI DSS), chargeback protection, and reporting tools. I’d also recommend checking reviews or developer communities for feedback on support quality, since that can be a major factor when issues arise. |
